Effective Date: June 1, 2024 · Version: Ver. 022024
You have entered a “replicated website” of an Independent Agent for Annuity.com, Inc., the back-office of an Annuity.com Independent Agent, the corporate website of Annuity.com, Inc., or a mobile application (“App”) operated by Annuity.com (“Annuity.com,” “our,” “us,” or “we”).
The Site is operated by Annuity.com and hosted by a third-party technology provider. The information you submit on this Site is sent to and accessed by Annuity.com—not the Independent Agent to whom this Site is assigned (except as otherwise stated in this policy).
By visiting this Site and providing information to Annuity.com, you consent to the following privacy policy, including our use and disclosure of information as described below.
This Site uses cookies and similar browser storage. A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep; browser storage works the same way. We group them by what they are for.
These are set by us, on this domain, and are not used for advertising. They are not sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
analytics_consent, so the Site can tell whether optional analytics are allowed. The record expires after twelve months, and we ask again.annuity_ref_agent records the Annuity.com agent whose site you landed on, for up to 30 days, so that agent is credited if you later contact us through another Annuity.com page. It holds an agent identifier and nothing about you, it is marked HttpOnly so no script on the page — ours or anyone else’s — can read it, and its value is determined by our server from the address you visited, never supplied by your browser.annuity_visitor_id, annuity_session_id and annuity_first_touch so we can count page views, group them into a visit, and remember how you first reached the Site. These contain a randomly generated identifier and basic referral details, not your name or contact information. They are set when those pages load, whether or not you have accepted optional analytics. We use analytics and marketing measurement services to understand how the Site is used — which may include PostHog, Segment, Mautic, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These do not load, set cookies, or send anything at all unless you choose “Accept All” on the cookie banner. Choosing “Reject All” or “Necessary Only”, or closing the banner, keeps them off.
You can change your mind at any time using the Privacy choices control at the bottom of any page. What withdrawing does depends on the service, so rather than average them: PostHog stops immediately, because we reset it and switch off its collection the moment you choose. We cannot unload a measurement script that has already started running in the page, so Segment, Mautic, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager may keep running until you leave the page or reload it. Reloading after you withdraw is what clears them, and while your choice stands none of them load again.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal: optional analytics stay off, the “Accept All” button is disabled, and a previously stored acceptance does not override the signal. GPC is also read when you submit a form on this Site, where we honor it as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information.
Some third-party services on this Site are not analytics and may set their own cookies in your browser under their own privacy policies. Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise runs on pages with forms to tell real visitors from automated abuse, and an agent may enable a chat widget provided by GoHighLevel. We do not control the cookies those providers set.
Every major browser lets you see, block, and delete cookies and site storage. Blocking them is your right, and parts of the Site — including remembering the privacy choice you made here — may not work as intended if you do.
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the personal information we hold. What we actually do:
No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and we do not ask you to send us sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or account numbers by email or text message.
If you believe your interaction with this Site is no longer secure, or you have a question about how we protect your information, contact us at support@annuity.com.
Through your use of or visits to the Site, you may be required or requested to provide personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information (“PII”) is any information that can be used to uniquely identify, contact, or locate a single person—such as names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, and credit card or banking information.
To become an Agent or Customer, you must provide biographical and contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email).
Agent applicants must also provide personal identifiers such as a Social Security Number or Federal Tax ID Number so Annuity.com may prepare and file required non-employee compensation forms with the IRS.
Agents and Customers also provide payment details (credit card, debit card, or checking account) for billing and order processing purposes.
Annuity.com does not share personally identifiable information except with contracted service providers as may be necessary to:
We use third-party providers for software, shipping, and merchant processing. Each requires your personal information to fulfill orders.
We also issue IRS Form 1099s to Agents who earn $600 or more annually, as required by law.
Your personal information is collected during enrollment and maintained by our software provider.
Annuity.com may provide limited Agent information (name, address, email, telephone number, and sales volume) to other Agents in your upline or downline for legitimate business purposes. Agents are bound by confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements, though Annuity.com cannot guarantee full compliance by all Agents.
The information you provide during enrollment is the only personal information collected and is used in accordance with this policy.
If you make a purchase through an Agent’s replicated website, Annuity.com will provide that Agent with your name, contact information, product details, and sales volume necessary to complete your transaction and service your account. No other personally identifiable information will be shared.
If you are the subject of an investigation or disciplinary action by Annuity.com’s Compliance Department, your personal information may be shared with our attorneys and your upline Agents, including evidence, allegations, and resolution details.
Annuity.com may share aggregated demographic data with partners, vendors, suppliers, third-party providers, and advertisers. This data is not linked to personally identifiable information.
If Annuity.com is acquired or sells part or all of its assets, Agent and Customer information will likely be transferred as part of the transaction and will then be governed by the acquiring entity’s privacy policy.
Annuity.com occasionally assigns leads to Agents and operates an Agent Locator tool on its website. To facilitate these, we may share the relevant Agent’s or prospective lead’s name, contact information, and location details.
Annuity.com may disclose confidential or personally identifiable information to comply with legal orders, subpoenas, regulatory demands, or other lawful requests.
In certain jurisdictions (e.g., Montana), we may be required to disclose income and identity details to regulatory authorities.
We may conduct surveys of Agents or Customers through third-party surveyors. These vendors receive only the personal information necessary to conduct and analyze results. Social Security, credit card, or banking details will never be shared for this purpose.
New Agents and Customers receive a welcome email to verify credentials and acceptance of the applicable Agreement. Agents and Customers may also receive business updates, product information, promotions, and newsletters.
On rare occasions, Annuity.com may send service-related notices (e.g., temporary maintenance notifications). These are informational and not promotional. Agents may not opt out of essential system notifications but can deactivate their accounts if desired.
Annuity.com communicates with Agents and Customers via email, mail, text message, or phone for account services, business updates, and product information.
Agents also receive communications through messages in their back-office system. Standard text message rates may apply.
Penna/Broich at Annuity.com may send SMS/text messages to the phone number you provide when you opt in to receive them. The following applies to our SMS messaging program:
